ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933)

Chaise longue in Amboyna burl with ivorine details and ‘sabots’. This rare chaise longue is a part of a set commissioned in 1916, along  with a rectangular cabinet known as 'État rectangulaire au vase fleuri' ( Rectangular cabinet with a flower vase). Only model known till today. Recently upholstered in a Prelle fabric designed by Ruhlmann from the Prelle Manufacture archives.

Stamped 'Ruhlmann'.

Dimensions: H 46 cm x W 210 cm x D 80 cm - H 18.1 × W 82.7 × D 31.5 in.

Period: Circa 1916
