
ANDRÉ GROULT (1884-1967)
Rare and comfortable 'bergère' armchair in green and grey lacquered wood, circa 1920. Stamped with the designer's mark Panier Fleuri. The wide, sculpted 'gondola' backrest is adorned with two carved roses, while the armrests elegantly end in a scroll – an emblematic feature of the designer’s work.
