
ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933)
Exceptional reading or print presentation table, known as ‘Cla-Cla’ made of Macassar ebony. The aerodynamic profile top features variable inclination, controlled by a curved rack, allowing for six different presentation positions. Two legs with long curves and
sculpted scrolling support a vertical stela. It bears the signature of Ruhlmann, the stamp of master cabinetmaker DEROUBAIX, and the mark of workshop B.
