ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933) & JEAN BESNARD (1889 -1958)

 

A crackled-glazed off-white ceramic “Boule” table lamp created by Jean Besnard for Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, circa 1925. The spherical shape of the lamp stand is elegantly complemented by a cylindrical collar edge. The lamp has a new lampshade in the original Ruhlmann`s style.

​Dimensions: H 31 (H 62 cm with the lampshade) x Ø 24,5 cm - H 12,2 x (H 24,4 in. with the lampshade) x 9,6 in.
Period: Circa 1925

Material: Glazed crackled ceramic, cotton fabric lampshade
