ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933)

 

Pair of armchairs in African mahogany with broad square backseat. The armrests lie on the slightly sabre-shaped front legs, ending in silvered bronze sabots. Upholstered in a wool and silk fabric by Maison Prelle, Lyon, designed by E. J. Ruhlmann, 'Les Ondes'.

Stamped 'Ruhlmann'.
