

ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933)

Exceptional reading or print presentation table, known as 'Cla-Cla' made of African mahogany designed by É. J. Ruhlmann and made by Jules Deroubaix in 1927, with two models known. One example of this table is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The other example, made in 1928, is in the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
