
ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879 – 1933)
Pair of ‘Crapaud’ model armchairs in Macassar ebony and Macassar ebony veneer, with a broad arched apron resting on two square section tapering front legs and two saber-shaped back legs. The rounded gondola-shaped back extends into flat armrests.
Upholstered in a fabric by Maison Prelle after a design by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann.
