Unique ‘Méridienne’ in amaranth wood with gilt bronze feet.

Rousseau and Lardin, both trained in the prestigious atelier of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, designer and cabinetmaker later founded the firm HEREL following their mentor’s death and modernising Ruhlmann’s ‘Rodier’ model. The chaise longue has been newly upholstered and covered with a linen and silk fabric designed by É. J. Ruhlmann, listed under the name ‘Les Ondes’ in the artists catalogue and reedited on request only by Prelle in Lyon.

Signed, unique piece.
